The Qur’ān is a large book in Arabic, a foreign language for most people in the world. For that reason, few people have an accurate understanding of all the different subjects covered in the Qur’ān. One of the most important subjects in it concerns the different prophets God has sent into the world at different times. One of those of whom the Qur’ān says a great deal, of course, is Hazrot Muhammad (PBUH). Most people have heard a great deal about his teachings and life. However, few have an accurate knowledge of the many and varied ways he is described in the Qur’ān. For that reason, this study was prepared.
This short booklet is intended to give the reader a clearer picture of how Hazrot Muhammad (PBUH) is described in the Qur’ān. What follows are simply verses dealing with different aspects of his life and work taken directly from the English translation of the Qur’ān. Several verses are usually given under each topic so as to give the reader a more complete picture of that topic. To gain the best understanding of how he is described in the Qur’ān; however, we would encourage all interested readers to obtain a translation of the Qur’ān in their mother tongue and read it for themselves.
